This is an independent website run by one person: a student who got tired of explanations that were longer, harder and more confusing than they needed to be. I started this site to fix that, at least for the topics I care about.

What this site is

Everything on easycapitalism has one goal: take a topic from the real world and make it easy to understand. You’ll find:

  • Explainers on personal finance, the stock market, mutual funds, bonds and how the economy works
  • Current affairs and world topics, gathered and summarised in one place
  • Comparisons and tools that put products side by side so you can decide for yourself
  • My own views, always labelled as views, never presented as facts

Why I’m building it

I’m a solo creator without a team, an editorial desk or a budget. I’m building this site on my own, and I hope to earn a little from it through advertising and affiliate links, which helps me keep it running and keep learning. That’s the whole business model, and there are no hidden ones.

How content is made

  • I research topics using official sources, public data, and reputable publications.
  • I use software tools, including AI, to help gather information and draft pages. I review the content myself before it goes live and correct anything that’s wrong.
  • Product comparisons use specifications collected from official sources and public listings. Our spec scores are calculated by a fixed formula, and any opinion is clearly labelled as the editor’s view.
  • Found a mistake? Tell me and I’ll fix it. See below.

What this site is not

easycapitalism is for learning, not advice. Nothing here is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and I am not a registered investment adviser. Markets carry risk, so please do your own research or speak to a qualified professional before you act on anything you read.
